If you're so great, why haven't we heard about you? Maybe you have a website but no one knows about it. Maybe you don't have a site. It couldn't be because you're not a star, right? First of all, we want to get to know you. What makes you tick? At Rughster Design, we know that you're not going to be a success if we don't understand exactly how to get your image and personality on to the web. Just because we have created numerous ski star sites doesn't mean we will make any assumptions.
Congratulations, you've got a piece of the internet! You've sent an email to your family and friends and asked them to forward it to their friends (they didn't). What's next? Let's think social. Time to start a blog. Get people coming back and keep them interested. On Twitter? Tell them more than what you had for breakfast. If you've got friends with sites that have had success, have them give you a shout out. These are just a few ideas that get the ball rolling.
Google yourself. We'll wait. Are you up there near the top? You should be, after all, this is a site all about you! We aren't promising the top of Google of course, but there's no reason that people shouldn't get Steve Nyman when they google Steve Nyman
Steve Nyman is an Olympic Downhill Skier and member of the US Ski Team. Steve came to Rughster Design in order to create a site that set him apart from his competitors and the rest of the US Ski Team members. He was able to accomplish these goals by working closely with Rughster Design to create a virtual desktop flash based website. Now, after nailing down new sponsorships, Steve is training for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

The inventor of the "Wilson Flip" needed something new. So we gave him a site that borrowed from him artistically and stylistically. Mike has been in the freestyle ski industry since he was 15 and never had a proper site built. We're currently working on version 2.0

Nikki Stone is an Olympic Gold Medalist, motivational speaker and author. She approached Rughster Design with the goal of spreading the word about her book and speaking packages. By understanding what the book represents and by drawing on her Olympic background, Rughster created a site that matched her personality and goals. After the success of the first site, Rughster created her motivational speaking site to help boost her business.
